Sales Representative

Primary Objective:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Salesperson. This position requires exceptional organizational and communications abilities, and general knowledge of the sign industry and B2B relationships. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing sales territory across multiple states, developing, and implementing effective sales strategies to drive business growth, and building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients and partners.

Core Sales Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business (cold calls, walk-ins, referrals, networking)
  • Respond to inbound leads and customer inquiries
  • Conduct client consultations to understand branding, signage needs, budgets, and timelines
  • Recommend appropriate sign solutions (materials, sizes, lighting, installation methods)

Product & Industry Knowledge

  • Maintain strong knowledge of sign products
  • Understand local sign codes, zoning regulations, and permit requirements
  • Stay informed about materials, fabrication methods, and installation best practices

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Communicate project status updates clearly and proactively
  • Handle customer concerns or change requests professionally
  • Follow up after installation to ensure customer satisfaction

Administrative & CRM Duties

  • Maintain accurate records in CRM or sales tracking systems
  • Document customer interactions, quotes, and contracts
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals
  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts as required

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work closely with designers, fabricators, installers, and project managers
  • Ensure customer expectations align with production capabilities
  • Support marketing initiatives and promotions

Professional Representation

  • Represent the company professionally at all times
  • Attend trade shows, community events, or client meetings as needed
  • Uphold company policies, safety standards, and ethical practices

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in the signage, printing, construction, or advertising industries.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and customer relationship management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of signage materials, fabrication, and installation is a plus.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
