This vital role is based in our state-of-the-art dental lab, located within the premises of our clinic. This position is not a remote job, requiring the successful candidate to be on-site to manage and execute all related tasks efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Fabricate high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, and implant restorations, primarily from zirconia and ceramic materials.
  • Collaborate closely with dentists and other clinical team members to ensure meticulous color matching and esthetic detailing of dental restorations.
  • Utilize skills in staining, glazing, and contouring to enhance the esthetic and functional aspects of dental prosthetics.
  • Adhere to prescribed timelines for dental restoration cases without compromising the quality and precision of the end products.
  • Maintain high standards of lab cleanliness and organization to facilitate efficient workflow and safety protocols.
  • Participate in quality assurance processes to ensure that all restorations meet Smile Avenue Family Dentistry's rigorous standards.
  • Continuously seek to update knowledge and skills related to the latest advancements in dental materials and lab techniques, including CAD/CAM technologies.
  • Interact professionally with other staff members and contribute to a team-oriented work environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Dental Ceramist or Dental Lab Technician.
  • Strong proficiency in fabricating zirconia and ceramic restorations such as crowns, bridges, and implant restorations.
  • Demonstrated skill in staining, glazing, contouring, and esthetic characterization of dental prosthetics.
  • Solid understanding of dental anatomy, occlusion, and marginal integrity crucial for high-quality dental restorations.
  • Ability to meet strict production timelines without compromising the quality of the outcomes.
  • Experience working independently within a structured lab environment, adhering to procedural and safety protocols.
  • Comfortable collaborating directly with dentists for shade matching and case adjustments to ensure patient satisfaction and restoration success.
  • Familiarity with digital dentistry and CAD/CAM workflows is highly preferred, reflecting modern dental lab operations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and a dedication to craftsmanship and quality.
