YOUR OPPORTUNITY

Durahome Painting Plus is a well-established exterior painting company with over 13 years of operations in the Twin Cities. We complete 300–600 projects per year and generate consistent inbound estimate requests from homeowners — meaning our Sales Consultants walk into pre-set appointments with qualified prospects, not cold leads.

We are looking for a high-performing closer who sells on value, builds trust quickly, and takes ownership of their results.

REALISTIC EARNINGS — BASED ON ACTUAL PERFORMANCE DATA

The figures below reflect what real performers in this role have achieved:

  • Consistent closers earning approximately a 50% close rate: $100,000+
  • Strong performers with higher close rates and larger job sizes: $200,000+
  • Top earners with strong margins, larger projects, and self-generated leads: $300,000+

Commission is tiered based on project profitability — higher-margin projects earn a higher commission percentage. Self-generated leads earn double commission.

YOUR ROLE

As a Sales Consultant, you will conduct in-home estimates at homeowner properties, assess project scope, and guide customers toward the right solution. You will be responsible for the full sales process — from the initial visit through signed agreement — and will maintain communication with customers through production to support repeat business and referrals.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Conducting in-person estimates at homeowner properties, building trust and understanding their goals
  • Identifying project needs, including prep work, carpentry, and protection requirements, and recommending the appropriate solution
  • Following a consultative sales process to convert a high percentage of estimates into booked projects
  • Building clear, detailed scopes and estimates using PaintScout so homeowners understand exactly what they are receiving
  • Maintaining communication with customers throughout the production process to ensure a positive experience
  • Attending select networking events and developing self-sourced leads when desired (self-generated leads earn double commission)
  • Managing your pipeline and staying organized using CompanyCam, Monday.com, PaintScout, and Slack

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Required:

  • Currently closing 50% or more of in-person estimates in home services, remodeling, construction, or a comparable field
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets and delivering strong customer experiences
  • Self-directed, with strong follow-through and accountability — you manage your own schedule, CRM tasks, and follow-up without being prompted
  • Reliable personal transportation within the Twin Cities metro area

Preferred:

  • Experience in construction estimating
  • Familiarity with the painting industry
  • Spanish language proficiency
  • Bachelor's degree

COMPENSATION AND STRUCTURE

You set your own pace — whether that means working three days per week or five depends entirely on your income goals. This is a performance-based role, not an hours-based one.
