Dental Assistant 

Location: Chesapeake, VA (Great Bridge Area) 

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (Full-Time; 4-5 Days a week)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking individual to join our fabulous team. We are a family run dental office in the Great Bridge area of Chesapeake.

Key Responsibilities

• Work with our 5 wonderful Dentists and provide high-quality chairside assistants (four-handed dentistry).
• Take Digital X-rays; intra-oral, PAN, and CT scans. 
• Sterilize instruments and maintain a clean, efficient clinical environment.
• Utilize Open Dental software for patient charting and records (training provided).

Requirements

• Hard worker
• Eager to learn new techniques.
• General Dentistry Operative Skills: Minimum of 3 years of Dental Assisting experience.
• Knowledge with Digital X-rays
• Certification: Must be certified in Radiography Safety. 
• Software: Knowledge of Open Dental is a significant plus, but we are happy to train the right person.
• A positive, team-oriented attitude and a commitment to patient care is a must.
