Agave Pediatrics is currently looking for a positive, experienced and reliable Referral Coordinator who can handle many different responsibilities in a fast paced environment. We are looking for candidates who have worked with insurance, and are able to adapt to a fast growing office. Multi-tasking and open communication skills are a must. Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required. 

Requirements:

1+medical admin field (benefits verification/referral coordinator preferred)
Good communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Good organization skills
Must be able to work with little to no supervision
Ability to multitask
Ability to work in a fast pace environment
Skill in operating computers (knowledge of word and excel), word processing software, fax machines and copier machines Type minimum 40 WPM
Maintaining patient confidentiality
EMR (eClinical Works)

Job Duties include, but are not limited to :

Processing Referrals, Processing referral authorizations through web based portals or written authorizations, updating and reviewing of specialist information, scheduling, referral department telephone support, communication between PCP office and specialists. 

We are looking for a highly motivated referral coordinator. Potential candidates must be able to work under minimal supervision in a high volume capacity working directly with providers to process referrals to outside specialties. Must keep appropriate deadlines for processing referrals. Full time is required Monday through Friday.
