Your Role

As a Dental Therapist at Legacy Dental, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in all dental specialities, including restorative dentistry and preventive services.
• Assess dental conditions and plan oral health care in consultation with patients and dentists.
• Carry out agreed clinical treatments such as restoration of cavities, placement of fissure sealants, teeth cleaning, and extraction of deciduous teeth.
• Assist in the management of medical and dental emergencies.
• Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment.
• Collect and record patient health histories.
• Educate patients on oral health care and preventive measures to maintain healthy teeth and gums.
• Participate in clinic sanitization and infection control procedures.
• Work with the dental team to improve the oral health of patients.

Requirements

• Associate degree or higher in Dental Therapy/Hygiene from an accredited program.
• Current Dental Therapist license, or ability to obtain license prior to starting work.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant clinical experience.
• Strong diagnostic skills and proficiency in dental procedures.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a variety of patients and dental conditions.
• Commitment to adherence of safety and sanitation protocols.
• Proficient in the use of modern dental technology.
• Passion for ongoing education and professional development in dental therapy.
