This contract position is ideal for a qualified dentist seeking to provide critical coverage and support during the vacation period of our primary dental care providers. This role is an onsite, non-remote position, ensuring direct involvement and engagement with our patients and staff.

The successful candidate will step into a dynamic environment from March 2nd to 6th and March 9th to 11th, 2026. As a key member of our team during this period, you will maintain continuity of care in our modern, patient-centric practice. Job Details:

  • Location: Austin, MN
  • Position Type: Temporary
  • Dates Needed: March 2nd - 6th, 9th - 11th, 2026
  • Schedule: Monday to Wednesday, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Thursday and Friday 7:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
  • Compensation: Dependent on experience, 1099 independent contractor arrangement

About the Role:

We require a devoted Temporary General Dentist who can efficiently manage patient care with minimal supervision. The candidate will benefit from working in a well-organized setting with a supportive team and access to a modern, fully digital office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform periodic exams, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Perform basic emergency care for patients in need
  • Review medical histories and ensure all patients provide informed consent
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical notes using the practice software
  • Collaborate with hygienists and assistants to assure top-quality care

Qualifications:

  • DDS or DMD from an accredited dental school
  • Active, unrestricted Minnesota (MN) Dental License
  • Current DEA registration
  • Professional malpractice insurance
  • Ability to work independently while managing a full schedule
  • Strong chairside manner and outstanding communication skills
