We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Digital and Print Production Assistant to join our dynamic design team. This role is ideal for someone who has a keen eye for detail, with the ability to manage and update existing templates for both digital and print media. The Digital and Print Production Assistant will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality marketing materials.
This is not a remote position. Candidates must be able to work Monday through Friday at our corporate office in Louisville, KY.
Digital and Print Production Assistant Key Responsibilities:
Template Management and Updating (90%):
- Assist in the preparation and production of digital and print advertising materials.
- Update and maintain existing templates for advertisements, ensuring consistency and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Perform routine adjustments and corrections to templates, including text updates, image replacements, and layout adjustments.
- Ensure all production materials meet specifications and quality standards.
Creative Work (10%):
- Collaborate with the design team to contribute creative ideas for new marketing campaigns and materials.
- Support the creation of simple design elements and graphics as needed.
- Assist in brainstorming sessions and provide feedback on design concepts.
Quality Control:
- Conduct thorough reviews of all materials before final production to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Identify and rectify any issues or inconsistencies in design and layout.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with graphic designers, marketing team members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless production processes.
- Communicate effectively to clarify requirements, deadlines, and feedback.
File Management:
- Organize and manage digital assets, including maintaining an archive of templates and completed projects.
- Ensure all files are appropriately named, stored, and backed up.
Digital and Print Production Assistant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Basic understanding of design principles and layout techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with digital marketing and print production processes is a plus.
Experience:
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a related role, preferably in a marketing or design environment.
- Experience with template-based design work is highly desirable.
