Role Overview

As a Dental Hygienist at Moore Smiles, you play a critical role in preventive care, patient education, and treatment co-diagnosis. You’ll work closely with our doctors and clinical team to deliver exceptional experiences while helping patients understand the why behind their oral health.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Perform thorough adult & pediatric prophylaxis appointments
• Take and interpret digital X-rays
• Complete periodontal charting and assessments
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, gum health, and treatment recommendations
• Identify periodontal disease and assist with treatment planning
• Administer local anesthesia (if licensed)
• Apply fluoride and preventive therapies
• Maintain accurate clinical notes and documentation
• Support hygiene production and reappointment goals
• Build trust and rapport with patients of all backgrounds
• Maintain a clean, organized operatory and follow all infection control protocols

Qualifications 

• Current Dental Hygienist license in the state of Tennessee
• CPR/BLS certification
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and stay organized
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive attitude
