Position Overview
The Treatment Coordinator is a key member of our team who connects patients with the care they need. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for helping people. You’ll serve as the bridge between patients and providers, discussing treatment options, reviewing financial arrangements, and creating a seamless experience from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
Discuss treatment plans directly with the doctor and relay information clearly to patients.
Help patients understand their recommended care, explaining procedures, timelines, and steps.
Coordinate scheduling for all phases of treatment and follow-up appointments.
Review insurance coverage with patients, ensuring they know their benefits and out-of-pocket costs.
Present third-party financing options and assist with applications when needed.
Obtain necessary consent forms and ensure proper documentation for all procedures.
Track treatment acceptance, follow through with pending cases, and meet office goals.
Maintain accurate records within the practice management system.
Collaborate closely with doctors, hygienists, and front office staff to provide a smooth, supportive patient journey.
Educate patients on the value of treatment and answer any questions with clarity and compassion.
Qualifications
Previous dental or healthcare experience preferred (but we are willing to train the right candidate).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Comfortable discussing financial information and handling sensitive conversations with discretion.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency with computer systems and willingness to learn new software.
