Clarity Enterprises Inc, is excited to announce an open position for a Front Desk Receptionist at our Iowa office. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, playing a crucial role in setting a welcoming and positive tone for our business. The successful candidate will be someone who possesses a bubbly personality, enjoys interacting with people daily, and embraces the challenges of a busy environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
  • Handle inquiries from the public and relay messages to appropriate staff members.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for staff members when necessary.
  • Assist with the scheduling and planning of meetings and appointments.
  • Perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and transcribing notes.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring all interactions are handled with diplomacy and professionalism.
  • Operate and maintain office machinery including printers, copiers, and fax machines.
  • Keep reception area tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material.
  • Assist with small project management, overseeing or participating in tasks aimed at improving office processes and environments.
  • Process and distribute daily mail and other deliveries, and manage outgoing correspondence.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in business administration or a related field is a plus.
  • Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., fax machines, printers, phone systems etc.).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with guests and staff at all levels.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, prioritize, and work under pressure.
  • High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess a warm, personable nature and a can-do attitude.
  • Competitive spirit, with the drive to meet and exceed assigned duties.
  • Capability to make calls efficiently and effectively nurturing leads and interactions.
