Adelante Healthcare is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. This full-time position is based in a dynamic clinical setting where comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological health care is a priority. The ideal candidate will join our team of healthcare professionals committed to quality care and excellent patient outcomes. Please note, this is not a remote job and requires on-site attendance at our healthcare facilities.

The selected candidate will play a critical role in managing women's health issues through effective treatment and preventive measures, enhancing the community’s overall health status.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and thorough assessments of the gynecological and obstetrical health needs of patients.
 - Prescribe and administer treatments based on best practices and evidence-based medicine tailored to individual patient needs.
 - Maintain ongoing follow-up with patients to monitor and track their health and progress.
 - Perform routine exams and screenings such as pelvic exams, pap smears, and prenatal care checks to ensure prevention and early detection of issues.
 - Orient, educate, and advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention tailored to the individual’s needs.
 - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical assistants, primary care physicians, and specialists to facilitate integrated patient care.
 - Document all patient interactions, treatments, and tests in the patient’s medical record following established protocols.
 - Engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with advances in women’s health care.
 - Comply with all organizational and department policies related to healthcare practice, including safety guidelines and confidentiality.

Requirements
- Graduate from an approved Nurse Practitioner school with a focus on Women's Health.
 - Current Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner certificate issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing.
 - Valid Arizona Registered Nurse license.
 - Valid Arizona Advanced Practice license.
 - Valid DEA certificate.
 - Current BLS Certification to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation for the health care professional (CPR) and AED through courses that follow guidelines from the American Heart Association and Red Cross.
 - Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card issued by the Arizona Department of Public Safety, required for all specialty behavioral health locations.
 - At least three (3) years of community health experience preferred, but not essential.
 - Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
 - Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish is highly desirable, though not required.
