We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Event Sales Assistant to represent AT&T and promote its products and services in a fast paced retail environment. As an Event Sales Assistant, you will play a key role in providing an exceptional customer experience while driving sales and enrolling new customers into AT&T service plans and packages. You will work inside a single retail location, ensuring that each customer receives personalized attention and guidance to find the best solutions for their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a brand ambassador for AT&T, actively listen to customer needs and recommend appropriate products and services.
- Drive sales by enrolling new customers into AT&T service plans and packages.
- Meet and exceed individual sales targets and performance goals.
- Stay up-to-date with AT&T products, services, promotions, and offerings.
- Effectively communicate the features, benefits, and pricing of AT&T plans and devices to customers.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely and effective manner, providing solutions or escalating issues as needed to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with other team members to create a positive and productive work environment. Assist in training new staff as needed and share best practices for success in sales.
- Ensure that all sales activities are conducted in compliance with both our retail partners and AT&T’s policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college coursework or degree a plus).
- Previous retail or sales experience is preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with a passion for sales.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with mobile phones, wireless services, and technology is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude and excellent problem-solving skills.
