Role Overview
We are seeking a part-time, dedicated and nurturing Nanny to provide exceptional care for our 8 month old baby, ideally 2 days/week. In this role, you will create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment that promotes the physical, emotional, and social development of our child, while also supporting their educational needs through engaging activities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, maintaining a nurturing and supportive atmosphere
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress, behavior, and any concerns
- Manage daily routines, including meal preparation, bathing, and bedtime practices
- Implement discipline strategies in a consistent manner to promote positive behavior
Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required:
- Previous experience in childcare or a related field
- Understanding of child development principles and best practices
- Communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Experience working with children of various age groups, particularly infants and toddlers
- Ability to incorporate creative and fun learning activities into daily routines
