Employment: Full-Time, W-2 Position
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Compensation: $24.00–$30.00 per hour, paid weekly
Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week
Travel: Local residential service calls only — no overnight travel
Weekends: No regularly scheduled weekend work

We are looking for an experienced Residential Door Installation & Repair Technician who takes pride in precision carpentry, clean finishes, and professional-quality work.
This position focuses primarily on diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing residential interior and exterior door systems.
A successful candidate should be comfortable working independently in clients’ homes, troubleshooting door problems, performing finish carpentry, and completing each project to a professional standard.
Performance Pay ( $29.00–$35.00 per hour)

Your primary responsibility will be diagnosing, repairing, replacing, and installing residential door systems.

Minor framing adjustments
Finish carpentry
Preparation for painting or refinishing
Diagnose door alignment, framing, hardware, and installation problems
Determine the appropriate repair or replacement solution
Verify measurements before beginning installation
Ensure doors are properly fitted, level, plumb, square, and operating correctly
Perform minor framing and finish carpentry when required
Protect the client’s home and surrounding work areas
Communicate clearly and professionally with homeowners
Explain recommended repairs when additional problems are discovered
Identify additional repair opportunities when appropriate
Follow company procedures and job checklists
Take required before, during, and after photographs
Maintain accurate job records using our mobile job-management system
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Keep tools and work vehicle organized
Collect client payments when required
Leave the client’s home clean when the project is completed
5+ years of professional residential door installation, repair, finish carpentry, or closely related experience
Strong knowledge of interior and exterior door systems
Experience installing prehung doors and door slabs
Strong understanding of door alignment and troubleshooting
Experience working with jambs, thresholds, casing, trim, hinges, and hardware
Ability to identify framing conditions affecting door installation or operation
Strong finish carpentry skills
Ability to accurately measure and plan installations
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Dependable and punctual
Professional appearance
Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and job-management software
Ability to maintain organized tools and a clean work vehicle
