What You’ll Do
- Install, replace, and repair:
- Interior doors (slab, prehung, bifold, pocket)
- Exterior doors (entry, French, sliding, storm)
- Door hardware, locksets, and weatherstripping
- Diagnose alignment, framing, and hardware issues
- Ensure proper fit, operation, and finish on all installs
- Perform adjustments, refinishing prep, and minor carpentry as needed
- Communicate clearly with clients throughout the job
- Identify additional repair opportunities and present solutions
- Follow job checklists and company procedures
- Complete before, during, and after photos
- Maintain clean, organized job sites and vehicles
- Collect payment and keep job records accurate
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of residential door installation and repair experience
- Strong carpentry skills (layout, framing adjustments, trim work)
- Experience with door hardware, alignment, and troubleshooting
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professional appearance and reliable work ethic
- Comfortable using mobile apps and job management tools
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Light drywall repair and paint touch-up
- Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge
