About the Role:

A day in the life: Our Staff Accountant will be a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our dynamic and fast-paced accounting team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a foundational understanding of accounting principles, with a desire to grow and advance within the organization. This position is responsible for processing daily financial transactions while assisting with general ledger maintenance and supporting the month-end close process. The Staff Accountant will also prepare and maintain accurate financial records, journal entries, reconciliations, and reports to support effective financial decision-making. On a given day, as a Staff Accountant, you will: 

  • Process daily accounting transactions (A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets).
  • Assist with the general ledger maintenance.
  • Support month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
  • Prepare and maintain financial records, reports, and analyses.
  • Adhere to the company's safety policies.
  • Other miscellaneous duties, as assigned.


Schedule & Travel: 

This staff accountant is a full-time Monday through Friday position with day shift hours.

The qualified candidate we seek is a Staff Accountant with these QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a related field.  
  • 1-3+ years of accounting experience preferred. 
  • Strong knowledge of daily accounting operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. 
  • Proficiency with accounting software, Microsoft Excel and the Google Workspace suite of applications.  
  • Construction experience is a plus.
