Highland Village Family Dentistry is excited to announce the vacancy for a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Dental Front Office. This Full-Time role is a superb opportunity for candidates who are passionate about efficient front office operations in the dental care environment. This position is ideal for individuals seeking a dynamic workplace setting. Please note, this job opening is not a remote position and requires physical presence at the Highland Village location. The successful candidate will work Monday to Thursday, enjoying great working hours from 9 AM to 5 PM, which supports a balanced work-life schedule.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, ensuring a smooth operation of the daily dental office schedule.
  • Collect payments from patients for dental services rendered, ensuring accuracy and promptness in financial transactions.
  • Handle dental insurance verification processes to confirm and clarify coverage with various insurance companies.
  • Schedule hygiene appointments meticulously to maintain an organized workflow within the dental office.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring that all visitors are greeted and assisted promptly and professionally
  • Work collaboratively with another highly accomplished front office member to ensure a seamless patient experience.
  • Perform administrative duties such as answering phone calls, managing emails, and maintaining records with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Engage in continuous learning about the latest front office practices to enhance job performance and office productivity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Dental Front Office staff is essential; experience in a similar healthcare setting will be highly regarded.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in English both spoken and written.
  • High school diploma required; further certification in office administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of office procedures and patient scheduling systems.
  • Proficiency in EagleSoft a big plus
  • Detail-oriented with strong focus on accuracy and precision particularly in matters related to patient billing and insurance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently with minimal supervision.
