Martin Painting & Coating Co. is looking for experienced commercial painters to contribute to larger commercial painting projects. This position requires strong practical painting skills, the ability to maintain consistent work quality, and experience working as part of a professional project team.
Previous commercial painting experience is required.
Perform painting work across large commercial project areas.
Prepare walls, ceilings, structural surfaces, and other assigned areas.
Scrape, sand, clean, and prepare surfaces.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and appropriate application equipment.
Complete detailed painting, cut-ins, and touch-ups.
Maintain consistent coverage and finish quality across assigned areas.
Protect surrounding surfaces and equipment.
Organize materials and maintain painting equipment.
Coordinate work with other painters and project personnel.
Maintain a clean and safe jobsite.
Follow project specifications and safety requirements.
Previous commercial painting experience required.
Experience working on larger commercial projects preferred.
Strong brush and roller application skills.
Ability to complete surface preparation and finish work.
Ability to work efficiently as part of a painting team.
Comfortable using hand and power tools.
Ability to perform physically demanding work.
Comfortable working at heights when required.
Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance.
Reliable transportation and smartphone required.
Availability to work at least two weekends per month.
Dependable and committed to quality and safety.
$22–$27 per hour
