Martin Painting & Coating Co. is looking for a Commercial Coating Technician to work on commercial painting and coating projects. The role combines surface preparation, coating application, detail work, and jobsite support to help deliver quality finished projects.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare commercial surfaces before coating application.
Clean, scrape, sand, and prepare assigned work areas.
Apply coatings using brushes, rollers, and approved equipment.
Complete detail work and touch-ups.
Mask and protect areas that are not being coated.
Assist with project setup and material preparation.
Maintain tools, equipment, and supplies.
Help keep the jobsite organized and clean.
Follow project instructions and safety standards.
Work safely around equipment, materials, and other trades.
Perform elevated work when required.

Qualifications

Commercial painting, coating, construction, or related experience preferred.
Previous brush and roller application experience helpful.
Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
Ability to perform physical work throughout the day.
Comfortable working at heights.
Must be clean shaven for respirator compliance.
Reliable transportation required.
Smartphone required for timesheets and communication.
Availability to work at least two weekends per month.
Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.
