Salary Range:  $31200 - $62400 hour

Quiver Quantitative is a VC-backed FinTech startup making next-generation trading data accessible to everyone. Quiver scrapes unique alternative data from across the internet and aggregates it in an easy-to-use web platform designed for non-professional investors. This allows retail investors to tap into the power of big data, and access the same resources that are increasingly being used to drive investment decisions on Wall Street. 
 
Since launching in February of 2020, we have grown to over 600,000 registered users and been featured on platforms such as CNN, Bloomberg, Vice, and the Washington Post. We have also built a large and quickly growing audience across several social media channels, including over 1 million followers on TikTok, 960k followers on Instagram, and 300k followers on Twitter. We are now looking to expand our small team to continue fueling our rapid growth. 
 
We are seeking an Investigative Reporting Intern, to conduct investigative research and content  production centered around Quiver’s data. In this role, you will oversee the production of engaging content across a variety of social media channels, as well as through the Quiver newsletter. Quiver has offices in Madison and Chicago, but this position can be conducted either remotely or in-office. The position has a starting salary of $30/hour and flexible hours (ideally between 20 and 40 hours per week). In addition to a flexible schedule, the start and end date of this internship can be customized to match an employee’s ideal work term.


Main Requirements 
 
• Strong background in data-driven research and investigative journalism 
• Capable of managing the design and distribution of content on multiple channels, including Quiver’s blog, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.  
• Ability to articulate complex concepts in a concise, easy-to understand manner.  
• Able to communicate and work with team-members effectively, on tight schedules to accomplish time-sensitive tasks.  
• Basic knowledge in equities, macroeconomics, and geopolitical relations.  
 
Responsibilities

• Produce on-brand, high-quality financial content that is consistent with the existing tone and voice of current marketing initiatives.  
• Increase inbound organic traffic, engagement, and conversion via content marketing across our website, blog, social media, partnerships, and email programs.  
• Produce and publish data-driven newsletters, short-form videos, and social media posts using information from Quiver’s platform and external sources.  
• Work closely and collaboratively with existing team members to create and plan new content for Quiver’s distribution channels.  
• Identify and develop new channels for expanding Quiver’s online presence.
