About the Job - Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Project Estimation: Conduct comprehensive, onsite evaluations to provide highly accurate project estimates for residential painting.
- Develop detailed project proposals that include precise timelines, cost estimates, and material requirements tailored to specific site conditions.
- Manage multiple project estimations simultaneously, maintaining strict adherence to deadlines and high accuracy.
- Utilize CRM systems to maintain meticulous records of every client interaction and contractual detail.
- Client Engagement & Consultation: Act as a pivotal point of contact, meeting with prospective clients to deeply understand their requirements and expectations.
- Provide expert-level consultations, offering professional recommendations that align with the client’s vision.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships to ensure total client satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Strategic Collaboration & Growth: Collaborate closely with project managers and the production team to ensure a seamless transition from the sales handoff to project execution.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies and stay ahead of the market.
- Participate in ongoing training and development sessions to keep your professional skills and industry knowledge sharp.
- Ensure all proposals and contracts remain compliant with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Provide regular reporting to management regarding the status of prospective and ongoing projects.

Requirements
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated success in sales and project estimation, specifically within residential painting or a similar construction/home improvement industry.
- Onsite Availability: This is not a remote role; you must be available for direct interaction and presence at various project sites.
- Technical Proficiency: Ability to use CRM systems and estimation tools to maintain accurate data.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential for client consultations and proposal writing.
