Please note, this is not a remote position, necessitating the successful candidate's presence in our Scottsdale office.
As a Dental Hygienist at Woodruff Dental, you will be integral in delivering quality dental services with a focus on preventive care and patient education. Duties and Responsibilities
- Educating patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive dental care.
- Assessing the oral health of patients and identifying areas of concern.
- Performing dental cleaning and scaling to remove plaque and tartar from teeth.
- Applying preventive materials to teeth such as sealants and fluorides.
- Taking dental radiographs (x-rays) and intraoral images as required.
- Documenting dental history and treatment plans for each patient.
- Ensuring strict compliance with all relevant hygiene and safety protocols.
- Assisting with the management of dental and medical emergencies.
- Maintaining patient confidentiality and building strong patient relationships.
- Collaborating with the dental team to improve patient care and office efficiency.
Requirements
- Active Registered Dental Hygiene License.
- Minimum of 2 years of dental hygiene experience.
- CPR Certification (Note: Woodruff Dental hosts team CPR re-certification every 2 years).
- Proficiency in using dental technology and software such as Dentrix, Dexis, iTero, BlueNote, Nomad, and Voice Perio.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for learning and staying updated with the latest dental practices and technologies.
