National Teen Age Republicans, an official youth auxiliary of the Republican National Committee, is excited to announce openings for summer interns. This opportunity is designed for individuals passionate about political activism and the core values upheld by the Republican Party. The selected intern will have the chance to engage directly with chapters and campaigns and contribute to our mission of shaping responsible leadership across the nation.
Please note, this is an in-office position based in our Tennessee office. It is not a remote job, meaning the selected candidate will be required to work on-site. The internship offers a hands-on experience in a vibrant and dynamic environment where teamwork and individual contributions are equally valued.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the organization and execution of events.
- Support administrative tasks and project coordination.
- Participate in workshops and meetings, providing valuable input and feedback.
- Conduct research on political, social, and economic issues to support ongoing projects.
- Help in creating content for our digital platforms, including blogs, social media, and newsletters.
- Engage with community members and stakeholders to promote the organization’s objectives and campaigns.
- Assist with the planning and execution of community outreach programs.
- Compile reports and presentations for internal and external use.
- Maintain and update databases and filing systems as necessary.
- Be an active participant in all internship program activities.
Requirements
- Alignment with the mission of the organization and a strong understanding of Republican values.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends when necessary.
- Willingness to undertake some travel as part of the role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior paid or volunteer experience with Republican campaigns or organizations preferred but not required.
- Proactive attitude and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited university, preferably in a field related to political science, public administration, or communications.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
Housing provided if needed. Pay range between $8.00 and $16.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Relocation assistance not provided.
