What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
Assist the dentist during procedures
Prepare and sterilize instruments
Set up treatment rooms before procedures
Break down and disinfect rooms after patients
Take dental X-rays (training provided if needed)
Record patient medical histories and chart notes
Ensure patient comfort throughout procedures
Educate patients on oral hygiene and aftercare
Manage infection control protocols
Maintain inventory of dental supplies
Prepare materials for fillings, impressions, etc.
Schedule and confirm patient appointments
Handle patient intake and paperwork
Support front office when needed
Maintain accurate patient records
Follow OSHA and safety guidelines
Assist with lab case preparation and tracking
Communicate clearly with team members and patients
Help maintain a clean, organized office environment
Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture
