Construction Laborer Job Description

Our team of experts specializes in Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining, and we are looking for Laborers to join our company. 

Position Overview: 

This is a full-time position that requires knowledge and dedication. A Laborer is responsible for organizing equipment and materials, traveling to and setting up job sites, cleaning equipment, trucks, and trailers, and assisting the crew with the scope of work contracted to perform. A Laborer is provided the opportunity to train and learn how to diagnose drain issues, camera inspect pipelines, clear blockages and debris, pipe jetting, and preparing the pipe for rehabilitation. Job site location varies between Residential homes, Commercial properties, Municipal projects, and Industrial sites. Every day is a new environment and a new opportunity to perfect the task at hand. The right person for this position must be capable of working as part of a team but with minimal oversight while still adhering to instructions closely. This is an entry level position but individuals with strong work ethic and a desire for knowledge and growth can advance in position within 6 months. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Restock trailers with materials and equipment 
• Travel to job sites and set up the worksite 
• Follow company procedures 
• Clean equipment, trailers, and trucks 
• Unload equipment and materials from trailers at job sites
• Layout surface protection to prevent damage
• Abide by all safety protocols 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• 2 Years experience working on construction sites
• Basic knowledge of hand tools  
• OSHA certifications are a plus
• Valid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle report
• Great communication skills
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds 
• Work well independently
• Flexibility with working hours 
• Team oriented mentality 
• Strong work ethic and career focused
