About the Role
We’re looking for a friendly, dependable, and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical environment while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities

Greet and room patients in a professional and welcoming manner

Take and record patient vital signs and medical histories

Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

Assist providers during exams and minor procedures

Administer medications and injections as directed
-
Collect and prepare laboratory specimens
-
Perform basic clinical tasks such as EKGs, wound care, and other duties as appropriate
-
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
-
Assist with scheduling appointments and coordinating patient care
-
Communicate with pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare providers as needed
-
Clean and maintain exam rooms and clinical equipment
-
Follow all HIPAA, OSHA, and safety guidelines
-
Provide patients with clear instructions and a positive experience
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or equivalent
-
Medical Assistant certification preferred or required based on state regulations
-
Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred
-
CPR/BLS certification preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills
-
Excellent attention to detail and organization

Ability to multitask and work effectively as part of a team

Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) systems
