We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to assume full-time leadership, ensuring seamless operations and the delivery of exemplary care to our patients. This is an onsite position that offers the challenge of managing and enhancing clinical and administrative procedures within our organization.

The Practice Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of Aktiv Insight's health services. This position involves direct responsibility for managing a broad spectrum of activities, including patient care, compliance, and staff management. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in medical office management, with a strong emphasis on leadership, efficiency, and the ability to handle complex situations adeptly.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of the medical office to ensure smooth and efficient functionality.
  • Supervise clinical and administrative staff, providing training, and development opportunities to enhance skills and promote teamwork.
  • Implement and monitor office policies and procedures to comply with medical and legal regulations, ensuring all practices are up-to-date with healthcare laws and standards.
  • Manage patient scheduling, billing, and ensuring optimal patient flow and satisfaction.
  • Maintain medical and staff records; ensure privacy and confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Oversee financial aspects including budgeting, payroll, and billing, to maintain fiscal responsibility.
  • Handle medical supply inventory, ensuring essential items are stocked and current without excess expenditure.
  • Facilitate communication between medical personnel and department leaders to ensure coordinated efforts and optimal patient care.
  • Address patient complaints and issues, ensuring all concerns are resolved in accordance with company policy and patient satisfaction goals.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management on ways to improve efficiency or effective handling of workflows.
  • Enhance operational systems, processes, and policies in support of the organization's mission; specifically, support better management reporting, information flow and management, business process, and organizational planning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a managerial role within a healthcare setting, preferably in a medical office environment.
  • Strong understanding of medical billing procedures and regulations.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated ability to effectively lead a diverse team of professionals.
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to think proactively and prioritize work.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, competent in resolving conflicts and managing staff issues.
  • Knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and standards, including HIPAA.
  • Proficiency in using healthcare software and systems for patient management, scheduling, and billing.
  • Capability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Financial acumen for budgeting, payroll, and cost control.
