Endodontic Specialists is seeking an additional dental assistant for 30-40 hours a week. Pay will be based on dental experience.
Our lead assistant would like to have someone that has chairside experience. However we would train the right person because at the end of the day awesome people are hard to find. If you have ever worked in a dental or medical practice you will understand how important having a reliable person that will not be calling out every other day is.

Responsibilities:
- - Assisting the endodontist chairside during procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow.
- - Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment for endodontic procedures.
- - Taking and recording patient histories, vital signs, and treatment information accurately.
- - Providing a comforting and reassuring presence to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- - Educating patients about their procedures, post-operative care, and oral hygiene practices.
- - Maintaining strict infection control protocols and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- - Collaborating with the endodontist and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
- - Taking digital radiographs and assisting with intraoral photography as needed.
- - Assisting with administrative tasks such as managing patient records.
Requirements:
- - No dental assisting experience required, we will train you - Strong customer service skills and pleasant demeanor.
- - Works well with a team and individually. - Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an accredited dental assisting program and who have x-ray certification
- - Preference will be given to candidates who have assisting experience, especially in an endodontic office- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral photography preferred.
- - Knowledge of endodontic procedures, instruments, and materials.
- - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and effectively communicate with patients.
- - Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- - Knowledge of dental software and computer skills preferred.
