Endodontic Specialists is seeking a full time chairside dental assistant to join our specialized team in Mesa (35-40HRS/week Mon,Tue,Thur,Fri). This position will be temporary until Oct. Could also turn into a permanent position. We are a non-corporate endodontic specialty office with a passion for providing amazing endodontic care in a friendly and comfortable environment. As an integral part of our practice, you will help provide exceptional patient care and support our endodontic procedures.
Responsibilities:
- - Assisting the endodontist chairside during procedures, ensuring efficient and smooth workflow.
- - Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment for endodontic procedures.
- - Taking and recording patient histories, vital signs, and treatment information accurately.
- - Providing a comforting and reassuring presence to patients, addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- - Educating patients about their procedures, post-operative care, and oral hygiene practices.
- - Maintaining strict infection control protocols and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
- - Collaborating with the endodontist and other team members to deliver exceptional patient care and achieve optimal treatment outcomes.
- - Taking digital radiographs and assisting with intraoral photography as needed.
- - Assisting with administrative tasks such as managing patient records.
Requirements:
- - No dental assisting experience required, we will train you - Strong customer service skills and pleasant demeanor.
- - Works well with a team and individually. - Preference will be given to candidates who have completed an accredited dental assisting program and who have x-ray certification
- - Preference will be given to candidates who have assisting experience, especially in an endodontic office- Proficiency in digital radiography and intraoral photography preferred.
- - Knowledge of endodontic procedures, instruments, and materials.
- - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and effectively communicate with patients.
- - Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain accurate patient records and handle administrative tasks efficiently.
- - Knowledge of dental software and computer skills preferred.
