Salary Range:  $17 - $19 hour

Shipping Team Member

 (Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing setting)

Location: 1515 W 17th St, Tempe, AZ 85281

Shift: Full time, day shift (5am - 3:30pm)

Due to the nature of work performed in our facility, all employees must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assists OSP with shipping when carrier services are involved
  • Maintains finished goods inventory- weekly cycle counting
  • Coordinates/communicates with Quality and Production departments on daily needs
  • Assists with WIP movement updates
  • Communicates updates to customers as required (end of day ship list and tracking detail)
  • Packages parts for shipment or inventory
  • Verifies and adheres to customer delivery requirements

Qualifications:

  • Ability to stand, lift, reach, grasp, bend, stoop, squat and/or walk the majority of the shift
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds unassisted
  • Excellent attendance
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work well with others
  • Ability to follow instructions & willingness to learn 
  • Due to ITAR requirements, must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident

Other experience that includes:

  • Basic computer skills required (email, navigating websites, data entry)
  • ERP/MRP system experience
  • Logistics knowledge (FedEx, UPS, Freight Services)
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft Office
  • Forklift certified (or willing to become certified once hired)

 Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 40+ pounds on a regular basis
  • Requires standing, bending, stooping, squatting, lifting, reaching, sitting, fine hand/finger manipulation up to 8 hours per day
