Responsibilities 

  • Greet and check in patients with professionalism and warmth 
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and manage patient scheduling 
  • Verify insurance and collect copays at time of service 
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all information is up to date 
  • Communicate effectively with clinical staff to keep the day running smoothly 
  • Assist with billing, claims follow-up, and patient financial arrangements 
  • Maintain a clean, organized front desk area
  • Support the Office Manager and assist with day-to-day operations as needed 

Qualifications

  • Ability to Speak, Read and Write both English and Spanish
  • 1+ years of experience in a dental front office or similar role 
  • Knowledge of dental software (Open Dental or Dentrix preferred) 
  • Strong customer service and communication skills 
  • Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure 
  • Familiarity with dental insurance and billing practices 
  • Reliable, professional, and eager to learn
