At Central Valley Dentistry & Implants we are a patient-focused, modern dental office committed to delivering exceptional care and a smooth, welcoming experience from start to finish. We’re currently looking for an organized, friendly, and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator to join our team and help support our front office operations.
Position Summary:
As our Dental Insurance Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate insurance verification, claim submission, and follow-up—helping patients understand their benefits while keeping accounts clean and organized.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits prior to appointments
Follow up on outstanding claims, denials, and requests for additional information
Post insurance payments and adjustments correctly
Coordinate pre-authorizations and predeterminations
Communicate with patients regarding coverage, deductibles, co-insurance, and estimated out-of-pocket costs
Work closely with the front desk and clinical team to ensure accurate treatment estimates
Maintain accurate documentation in the patient record
Support general front office tasks as needed (phone calls, scheduling support, etc.)
Confirming appointments & full appointment review
Qualifications 1+ year experience in a dental office preferred (insurance experience strongly preferred)
Knowledge of dental insurance plans (PPO & HMO plans)
Familiarity with Dentrix dental software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized
Professional communication skills (phone + in-person)
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
