Industrial Maintenance Technician III

Elite Construction is hiring a Industrial Maintenance Technician ll.  The primary purpose of the Maintenance Technician II is to ensure smooth functioning of the plant equipment through efficient preventative maintenance with the utilization of all safety related tactics and practices. Make sure equipment is ready to produce quality products with a consistent performance.   You must take pride in your work and have a great attitude!

• Trade/Technical school degree or certification or a minimum of 3 years in this industrial maintenance related position is required. Must be able to verify 3 years of experience if you do not have Technical School certificate 

Description:

The Maintenance Technician 11 - should be self-motivated in routine jam pulling, basic repairs and basic maintenance, as well as capable of supporting daily production and provide detailed feedback to management and senior maintenance personnel regarding production maintenance issues.  The Maintenance Technician’s primary concern is with keeping the production floor equipment clean, operating properly and jam free.  The successful candidate should be a flexible, detail-oriented team player with the ability to manage multiple tasks, produce quality work, and consistently meet deadlines. Must be able follow company rules and procedures, interact with others well and positive. Must be able to work overtime and weekends if needed.   

Education and Experience

This full-time, permanent position requires a minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience.  Formal training and certificate of completion in Industrial Systems Technology , Industrial Safety, AC/DC Wiring and PLC.

Must have good written and verbal skills. 

Good mechanical aptitude

Computer skills 

Ability to work unsupervised 

$20.00-$22.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.  Successful candidate must be able to work the third (1st) shift from 7:00 a.m. -  4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday with occasional weekend.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the day-to-day safe machine operation.
• Must work safe and follow all company and industry related safety rules and practices.
• Does not take shortcuts – always follow proper safety procedures when working on or around machinery.
• Follow all lock out/tag out procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance as scheduled.
• Ensure that all PMS are done on schedule.
• Works collaboratively with all employees, always remembering that the maintenance department services production.
• Must be capable to learn and perform (start-up/ shutdown) procedures safely for the power plant based upon schedule and plant requirements.
• Notifies Level I technician or Lead Technician when maintenance supplies are low so that they can be replenished on time.
• Participate in Maintenance meetings collaboratively.
• Attend safety meetings as directed.
• Any other duties as assigned or deemed necessary.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be experienced and dedicated to meet high demands.
• Be dependable, teamwork attitude, and hardworking.
