Are you a hands-on problem solver with experience maintaining homes homes? Short Term Rental Manager (STRM), a local vacation rental management company, is looking for a dedicated Maintenance Technician to keep our managed properties in excellent working condition
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for helping with both routine maintenance tasks, as well as minor repairs in the furnished rentals we manage
Your schedule will be a mix of pre-scheduled routine maintenance visits, and last-minute repair visits based on repair needs reported for the home.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks for vacation rental homes, including changing air filters and light bulbs, maintaining grills, checking for leaks, etc
- Perform light repairs at homes, including minor furniture and appliance repairs, drywall, paint touch-ups, minor plumbing, minor electric, etc
- Complete exterior cleaning at homes, including pressure washing
- Travel from site to site (usually at least 1-2 homes per day)
- Ensure all properties are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Maintain all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
Requirements
- Ideal applicants are hard-working, have strong attention to detail, and are problem solvers
- Prior experience with property maintenance is preferred
- Have at least 4 days available each week. Weekday hours are preferred
- Are available to work 20-35 hours per week
- You must:
- Have a reliable car, car insurance, and a valid driver's license
- Be able to speak and read English
- Have legal authorization to work in the United States
- Be willing to submit to a Criminal Background Check
- Be physically able (and willing) to bend/squat/lift/reach/climb stairs to complete tasks
