Lead Technician / Future Operations Leader

Windsor–Essex County | Full-Time | $20–$35/hr + Bonuses

Thunder Spray Inc. is not hiring just another employee.

We’re looking for someone who wants to lead, grow, and eventually help run a business.

Since 2014, we’ve built one of the highest-rated exterior cleaning companies in Windsor, Essex & Kent County. We protect our reputation. We run clean systems. We expect high standards.

This is a hands-on, in-person leadership role.

What This Role Actually Is

You won’t just “wash houses.”

You will:

  • Run job sites independently or lead up to 2 technicians when required

  • Manage each project from start to finish

  • Communicate confidently with homeowners

  • Maintain five-star standards

  • Train and mentor new hires

  • Identify upsell opportunities (bonuses paid)

  • Complete checklists and job documentation

  • Protect trucks, tools, and equipment

  • Think like an owner instead of waiting for direction

If you need constant supervision, this isn’t the role for you.

Who This Is For

You might be a fit if:

  • You take responsibility without being chased

  • You’re physically fit and comfortable working at heights

  • You’re good with people and can read a room

  • You want more than a short-term job

  • You care about doing things right the first time

  • You’re open to long-term growth inside one company

Experience in pressure washing, construction, landscaping, or trades is helpful — but leadership mindset matters more.

Requirements

  • Full Class G driver’s license (clean record)

  • Comfortable working at heights

  • Physically capable of outdoor work

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Working at Heights certification (or willingness to obtain)

Compensation & Perks

  • $20–$35/hour based on performance

  • Upsell bonuses + customer tips

  • 40–50 hours/week during peak season

  • Company-provided apparel

  • Hands-on leadership training

  • Seasonal downtime is built in

Top performers earn strong money. Leaders earn more.

Seasonal Schedule

  • March–November: Busy season

  • December: Light schedule/family time

  • January: Christmas light takedown

  • February: Slow pace, prep for spring/family time

This is not a 12-month grind.

Long-Term Opportunity

For the right individual, this role can grow into:

  • Crew Supervisor

  • Operations Manager

  • Profit-sharing structure

  • Potential future partnership or buy-in opportunity

Nothing is promised. Everything is earned.
