As we continue to grow, we are looking for an organized and customer-focused Dispatcher to join our team and help keep our field operations running smoothly.

Position Overview:  The Dispatcher is responsible for coordinating daily schedules for HVAC and plumbing technicians, communicating with customers, and ensuring service calls are handled efficiently. This position is the central point of communication between our office, technicians in the field, and our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and dispatch HVAC and plumbing technicians to service calls and installations
• Coordinate daily technician routes for efficiency and timely service
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure they have the necessary information, equipment, and parts for each job.
• Communicate with customers regarding appointment times and updates
• Monitor technician progress and adjust schedules as needed
• Answer incoming service calls and assist customers with scheduling
• Maintain accurate job notes and customer records in the service management system
• Coordinate emergency and priority service requests
• Work closely with service managers to ensure smooth daily operations
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional phone presence

Qualifications

• Previous dispatching or scheduling experience (HVAC, plumbing, construction, or service industry preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
• Proficiency with computers and scheduling software
• Positive attitude and strong team mentality

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with HVAC or plumbing service operations
• Knowledge of service scheduling software
• Ability to problem-solve and think quickly under pressure
