Holiday Crew: Events and Warehouse (Part-Time, Seasonal)

The short version

Cactus Corn is hiring a holiday crew. Some shifts are at holiday pop-ups, retail centers, and events around the Valley. Some are in our Phoenix warehouse popping, packing, and shipping. Pay starts at $16 an hour, most shifts have tips on top, and you get paid every week. No experience needed. We train you.

The season starts November 15 and runs through the holidays. The people who crush it get first shot at staying on, and our full-time roles come from this crew.

Who we are

We're Arizona's original premium popcorn brand, family-owned since 1998. You've seen us at Chase Field, Salt River Fields, WestWorld, the train park, and concerts at Talking Stick. We make Prickly Pear, White Cheddar Jalapeño, and Roasted Street Corn, and we pack it in collectible tins with Arizona landmarks on them. The holidays are our busiest stretch of the year, and the most fun.

What you'll do

Events and pop-ups:

• Set up a popcorn stand at a holiday pop-up, a retail center, or an event
• Pop fresh batches, hand out samples, and sell to people who are already in a good mood
• Run the register, handle cash, and keep the line moving
• Break it down clean at the end of the night

Warehouse:

• Pop, season, and bag popcorn
• Pack collectible tins and corporate gift orders
• Pack and ship online orders
• Load the trucks and trailers for the next day's events

You can do one or both. Tell us which on the application. Most people who do both say the variety is what makes the job fun.

Who thrives here

• You bring energy. Lines move faster and tips get bigger when the person at the stand is having a good time.
• You're outgoing. You'll say hi to a few hundred strangers in a shift.
• You show up when you say you will. This matters more than anything else on this list.
• You stay calm when it gets busy. It will get busy. That's the fun part.
• You can be on your feet for a full shift, work outside, and lift 40 pounds.
• You're 18 or older with reliable transportation.

Experience at a stadium, a food truck, a coffee shop, a retail counter, or a warehouse helps. It's not required. We can teach popcorn. We can't teach energy.

Pay and perks
