Event Operator – Food Truck & Live Events Company: Cactus Corn Location: Phoenix Metro Area (Events throughout Arizona)

What You’ll Do (Day-of-Event Reality)This is an active, operator-level role focused on execution, reliability, and customer experience.

Load in, set up, operate, and tear down our mobile food truck and event concession setups at sports games, festivals, and large-scale live events

Operate service equipment and produce and serve popcorn in high-volume service environments

Manage busy customer lines, keep service moving efficiently, and deliver a friendly, professional brand presence

Engage directly with event attendees and represent Cactus Corn with confidence and positivity

Stock product and supplies, maintain cleanliness, and follow health and safety compliance standards at all times

Accurately handle POS transactions, cash and card payments, and assist with end-of-event closing and sales reporting

Travel to event sites across Phoenix  and work variable schedules, (typically evenings and weekends which makes this a great side hustle!)

Care for company equipment and property, identify issues, and communicate supply or maintenance needs proactively

What We’re Looking For (True Requirements) Experience in live-event food service, food trucks, mobile kitchens, festival concessions, catering, or high-volume quick-service hospitality

Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-energy environments with large crowds and long lines

Strong customer service skills and confidence engaging with the public

Physically able to stand for long periods, lift and move product, and work outdoors in varying conditions

Reliable, punctual, and professional in both appearance and attitude

Availability during weekends, nights, holidays, and peak event seasons

Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel statewide

Nice to Have (Not Required)Direct food truck or mobile kitchen experience

Experience with popcorn or snack-food production

Previous work at festivals, stadiums, fairs, or concession stands

Experience with POS systems and cash reconciliation
