Job Description

As we continue to expand and streamline our operations, we have an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and skilled CDL Class A Driver. This is a full-time, onsite position based out of our Nashville, Tennessee, warehouse. The role is crucial as it involves direct handling and transportation of our products to various store locations, ensuring the timely and safe delivery of goods.

This position is ideal for someone who is not only adept in driving but also in managing delivery schedules efficiently. Being the face of our supply chain operations on the road, you'll play a significant role in maintaining the integrity of our distribution network. This is not a remote job; hands-on collaboration with warehouse and store teams is vital.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load and drive deliveries to our store locations, ensuring goods are secured and transported safely.
  • Assist in order filling activities during non-driving periods to ensure operational continuity.
  • Work closely with the Warehouse Manager and Assistant Warehouse Manager to adhere to our delivery processes and comply with company policies.
  • Help store teams in unloading products from the trailer, ensuring an efficient offload process and minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Adhere to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations, maintaining a clean driving record and ensuring safe driving practices, including compliance with speed limits and driving laws.

Requirements

  • Possess a valid CDL Class A License.
  • Proven experience as a CDL driver with a clean driving record.
  • Familiarity with DOT regulations and requirements.
  • Ability to manage schedules and routes efficiently.
  • Capable of heavy lifting and handling of freight as part of loading and unloading processes.
  • Strong organizational skills to ensure proper handling and delivery of sensitive or fragile goods.
  • Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines.
  • Effective communication skills to coordinate with managers and store personnel.
