The role of an Outside Sales Representative is pivotal to our company as it involves direct interaction with our most important stakeholders – the homeowners. Our successful candidate will be responsible for identifying potential sales opportunities, engaging face-to-face with clients, and delivering solutions that meet their specific needs. Duties and Responsibilities

Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts
Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and socially
Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
Inspect and assess home damage, provide homeowners with an understanding of repair needs, and explain the claims process
File claims with homeowner’s insurance or provide retail estimates directly for necessary work

Requirements

Proven work experience as a sales representative, though zero sales experience necessary to apply
Highly motivated and self driven
Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills
Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle to meet mobility demands of the role
Ability to walk and stand for long periods, often under varying weather conditions
Ability to carry a ladder (when necessary for rooftop inspections)
Strong organizational skills and a keen attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all transactions and communications
Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with a wide range of individuals and demographics
