This full-time position is primarily onsite and involves substantial interaction with various complex systems and machinery. Applicants should be prepared for hands-on engagement and collaboration with our seasoned team of professionals in a fast-paced and dynamic industrial environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on machinery to avoid unnecessary downtimes and extend asset lifespan.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Implement modifications and enhancements to equipment and systems based on analysis of operational performance and efficiency.
- Coordinate with the management team to prioritize maintenance schedules and operational needs in line with production goals.
- Maintain clear and comprehensive records of all maintenance work, modifications, and enhancements carried out on equipment.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and procedures while conducting maintenance tasks and equipment monitoring.
- Support project work including new installations, equipment upgrades, and process improvements.
- Collaborate closely with other technical teams to share expertise and insights, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during breakdowns to minimize disruptions to operations.
Requirements
- Progressive experience (preferably 5-7 years) working in an industrial manufacturing or industrial maintenance environment, with at least 3 years supporting an industrial welding, stamping, or structural fabrication facility.
- Ability to read and interpret maintenance procedures and interpret written and oral instructions including technical manuals, blueprints, construction plans, drawings, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Proficient at using digital multimeters, megohmmeters (meggers), oscilloscopes, laser alignment tools, and mechanical precision measurement equipment (micrometers, dial indicators).
- Strong skills in Electrical, Automation, Welding & Cutting Systems, Hydraulics, Reliability & Safety, and Leadership.
- Ability to read, write and speak in the English language. Bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the capability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
