Dental Hygienist

Modern, family-oriented, Privately owned (not corporate) patient-centered practice seeking a dental hygienist with an outgoing personality and excellent communication skills. We are located in the heart of Midvale with easy convenient access to I-215.  Send resume and any other additional information you feel would be helpful for us to make a decision.  Salary dependent on experience and production, but will range from $45.00 - $60.00 per hour

Education:

• Graduation from accredited dental hygiene program

Experience:

• Dental Hygiene: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Registered Dental Hygienist and Utah State license
• Local Anesthesia Certification

Responsibilities:

• Dental hygiene - use of ultrasonic and hand scaling instruments to remove hard and soft bacterial accumulations for disease control
• Patient education - help patients understand the importance of proper dental hygiene and regular professional dental hygiene, restorative and preventive dental care. 
• taking x-rays - bitewing, periapical and panoramic x-rays
