Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and provide preventive care that aligns with EverCare’s high standards of practice.
- Educate and engage patients on maintaining optimal oral health practices, offering practical and memorable advice tailored to each individual’s needs.
- Support the dentists by identifying potential treatment plans and assisting in creating a trustworthy relationship with patients.
- Maintain precise and timely dental records using our preferred software, Open Dental.
- Ensure that the operatory is meticulously organized, clean, and safe at all times, complying with current infection control procedures and utilizing provided personal protective equipment effectively.
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the practice’s goals and continuous improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Must possess a current Texas Dental Hygiene License.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in private practice dental hygiene is preferred.
- Proficiency in or willingness to quickly learn Open Dental software.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with a calm and confident chairside manner.
- A strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating the ability to engage and educate patients effectively.
