Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive dental cleanings and provide preventive care that aligns with EverCare’s high standards of practice.
  • Educate and engage patients on maintaining optimal oral health practices, offering practical and memorable advice tailored to each individual’s needs.
  • Support the dentists by identifying potential treatment plans and assisting in creating a trustworthy relationship with patients.
  • Maintain precise and timely dental records using our preferred software, Open Dental.
  • Ensure that the operatory is meticulously organized, clean, and safe at all times, complying with current infection control procedures and utilizing provided personal protective equipment effectively.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the practice’s goals and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Texas Dental Hygiene License.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in private practice dental hygiene is preferred.
  • Proficiency in or willingness to quickly learn Open Dental software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a calm and confident chairside manner.
  • A strong commitment to patient care, demonstrating the ability to engage and educate patients effectively.
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a focus on collaborative practice and professional growth.
