CareMN Home Care is pleased to announce a new opening for the position of In-Home Caregiver in the Excelsior Area. Our caregivers provide critical support and companionship to individuals in their residences, ensuring they can enjoy a high quality of life in their familiar surroundings. This particular role focuses on a compassionate individual willing to assist in the daily care of a female client with Parkinson's Disease.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide daily living support including but not limited to meal preparation, personal hygiene, and light household duties.
- Maintain an environment that supports the overall well-being of the client.
- Monitor and report changes in the client's health, behavior, and needs accordingly.
- Facilitate activities that encourage engagement and cognitive stimulation.
- Ensure all medications are taken on time as prescribed and help with exercise routines as needed.
- Coordinate with healthcare professionals to optimize the client’s care plans.
- Provide companionship and maintain a trusted environment for the client.
- Utilize communication tools to update family members and the care team about the client’s condition and progress.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a caregiver; experience in home care preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- A respectful and compassionate approach to dealing with clients and their families.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to operate standard household appliances and perform light housekeeping tasks.
- Experience with Parkinson’s Disease patients is a significant plus.
- Comfortable using digital tools and platforms for communication and documentation.
- Must be self-motivated, patient, and professionally discreet.
- Must adhere to all health and safety regulations and procedures.
