Occupational Therapist

131 Market Place Montgomery, AL 36117 • Customer Service • Healthcare • Part-Time

Salary Range:  $50 - $60 hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities to develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Design and implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients’ ability to perform daily activities.
  • Provide guidance on the use of adaptive equipment, assistive devices, and environmental modifications.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to set realistic goals and ensure continuity of care.
  • Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on techniques to promote independence and prevent injury.
  • Stay current with best practices and advancements in occupational therapy.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

 

Qualifications:

  • Current state licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure) in Alabama.
  • Strong assessment, planning, and intervention skills.
