On the Road to Wellness is seeking a dependable community-minded Driver and Peer Support Specialist to support daily transportation for members attending our Manchester Peer Support Agency. This position is ideal for someone who values reliability, safety, and respectful engagement with individuals in recovery and wellness-based services.

Scheduling for this role is Monday through Friday, split-shift 8:30-10:30AM to pick-up our members, then 1:30-3:30PM to return them to their homes.

This role also includes routine vehicle safety checks, mileage and passenger documentation, prompt reporting of concerns, and responsible stewardship of the agency vehicle. Pay is $18/hourly.

We are looking to fill this position immediately. Qualified applicants are contacted within 48–72 hours for a phone screening, followed by an in-person interview. The entire process from interview to your first day is generally completed within two weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely transport members to and from the Manchester Peer Support Agency on a consistent weekday schedule
• Operate agency vehicles in a safe, lawful, and professional manner
• Conduct a visual vehicle inspection prior to each use and report any damage, safety concerns, or mechanical issues immediately
• Complete required passenger sign-in, mileage, and vehicle use logs accurately.
• Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the vehicle
• Support a respectful, calm, recovery-oriented atmosphere during transport

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license with a clean and insurable driving record
• Reliable, punctual, and organized
• Enjoys working with individuals engaged in peer support and recovery services
• Able to maintain accurate documentation and follow agency procedures
• Strong judgment, communication, and professionalism
• Complete NSCs Defensive Driving Course
