Job Summary
We make both hardware and software, and you'll get hands-on in accelerating higher quality releases of everything. You'll be working with applications for both Windows, Linux, and iOS as well as web products. You'll provide insight to developers so they can design tests for you to automate, as well as create your own test plans. You will have the opportunity to fly in our plane to test regressions with live data. We are open to mid to senior-level applicants and the salary will be commensurate with your experience level. Responsibilities
Own and continuously improve the end-to-end quality control process for software products
Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for new features, releases, and products
Establish QA roadmap aligned with product development timelines and business objectives
Identify, document, and track software defects with clear reproduction steps
Assess bug severity and priority, ensuring critical issues are addressed promptly
Select and implement appropriate testing tools, frameworks, and infrastructure
Define release criteria and quality gates for production deployments
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in software quality assurance or testing
2+ years in a lead or senior QA role with demonstrated ownership of quality processes
Experience with regression testing and release management
Solid understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux, iOS) and how they are configured
Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python
Solid understanding of networking, experience in using packet capture tools is a plus (Wireshark, TCP Dump, etc)
Project management skills are a plus
