Duties and Responsibilities

  • Identify and contact potential clients through various online and offline channels, setting up appointments for our sales team.
  • Execute a predetermined number of calls and outreach strategies to meet weekly and monthly quotas.
  • Use customer relationship management (CRM) tools to track and manage customer interactions and analyses to create detailed reports.
  • Conduct initial screening discussions to understand customer needs and suitability for solar solutions.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing team to improve outreach strategies based on customer feedback and outcomes.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in solar technology and renewable energy to provide accurate information to potential clients.
  • Handle customer objections effectively and professionally, maintaining a positive company image.
  • Maintain a detailed log of appointments set, including feedback from the sales team on the outcome of each appointment.
  • Participate in virtual training sessions and team meetings to enhance sales techniques and strategy alignment.
  • Provide support in organizing online or in-person sales events and presentations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an appointment setter, telemarketer, or a similar role in sales, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and appointments efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of sales performance metrics and software, including CRM platforms.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting.
  • Experience with solar technology or the energy sector is a plus but not required.
  • Must be proactive in finding new potential clients through various sourcing strategies, including door-to-door knocking when necessary.
  • Demonstrate a professional demeanor, ethical conduct, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong listening and presentation skills, capable of understanding customer needs and presenting appropriate solutions.
