Dental Assistant – Elite Dental Wellness

As a Dental Assistant at Elite Dental Wellness, you’ll play a key role in ensuring patient comfort and treatment success. Our modern clinic encourages professional growth, fosters a positive team culture, and is committed to providing every patient with a seamless, high-quality experience.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during procedures and exams, handling tools and equipment efficiently

  • Prepare treatment rooms for each appointment, ensuring cleanliness and readiness

  • Sterilize and disinfect instruments according to hygiene protocols

  • Take and process dental X-rays under dentist supervision

  • Make preliminary impressions and fabricate custom trays as needed

  • Provide postoperative instructions and educate patients on oral health

  • Manage and update patient records while maintaining confidentiality

  • Assist in handling medical and dental emergencies

  • Support inventory management of dental supplies and equipment

  • Aid office operations, including phone calls, scheduling, and patient communication

Requirements:

  • Current Dental Assistant certification or ability to obtain before start

  • Previous dental office experience preferred

  • Knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and ethics

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for patients

  • Strong dexterity and hand-eye coordination for detailed dental work

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and commitment to confidentiality

  • Basic computer skills; experience with Open Dental preferred

  • CPR certification or ability to obtain before start

  • Positive, proactive attitude with dedication to quality patient care
